ACCA National Tournament- Final Recap March 11, 2020 - Men’s Recap In the second round of the ACCA National Tournament, the FLBC Conquerors played Rhema Bible College. Last season, the Conquerors pulled off one of their best games they’ve had in recent years at the National Tournament pulling off a win in a stunner against Rhema. ACCA Tournament 1st Round Recap March 6, 2020 - FLBC Men vs. Kansas Christian (Wednesday, March 3, 2020) In their opening round game at the 38th annual ACCA Tournament in Joplin, MO, the Conquerors matched up with the Kansas Christian Falcons. Both teams played good defense early and the game was close over the first 10 minutes. However, the quickness and athleticism of the Falcons started to take a toll on the Conquerors. ACCA National Tournament Begins in Joplin, Missouri March 2, 2020 - Men’s Preview The Men Conquerors will start their ACCA National Tournament action this Wednesday as they take on Kansas Christian College in the first round of play. The game will take place at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. The Conquerors first round game is Wednesday at 7:45pm. The winner takes on Arlington Baptist in round two of the National Tournament. Kansas Christian College and FLBC look to be an exciting first round matchup. NIAC Tournament Recap February 24, 2020 - FLBC Men vs. Leech Lake Tribal College (Friday, February 21, 2020) The Conqueror men entered first round play in the 39th annual NIAC Tournament with high hopes and what looked to be a good match-up for them. For one of the few times all season, the Conquerors faced off against a smaller team in the Lakers. However, the Lakers made up for their lack of size with quickness and aggressiveness on both offense and defense. NIAC Tournament Bracket Set February 19, 2020 - Men’s Preview The Men Conquerors have finished the 2019-20 Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a record of eight wins and six losses. This was a strong showing in a conference where every team who made the conference tournament is at almost .500 or above. The Conquerors are now gearing up for the NIAC conference tournament which will take place in Bemidji, Minnesota. The tournament will take place from Friday the 21st until Sunday the 23rd. Weekend Recap February 17, 2020 - FLBC Men vs. Trinity Bible College (Saturday, February 15, 2020) After a convincing win by the FLBC Conquerors the previous evening, the tables were turned by the Trinity Lions on Saturday night as they blew out the home team by a final score of 88-63. Outside shooting was again the factor in the game, though this time, it was the Lions with the hot hand. They scored 66 of their points on 3-pointers, including going 22-43 from behind the arc. Both teams are looking to improve their NIAC positions heading into the conference tournament next weekend. Final Weekend of Regular Season with Major Playoff Implications February 13, 2020 - Men’s Preview Last weekend, the Men played their last two non-conference games of the regular season. They beat Dayspring Bible College by over 30 points on Friday night, before playing Division III opponent Maranatha Baptist University who the Conquerors lost to by 9. The Men swept NIAC Conference opponent Turtle Mountain Community College in two nail-bitters this past weekend, putting them into the fourth spot in the conference.
